Bluewater Resort is located on the south end of the beautiful Grand Strand. We have 12 bodies of water, indoor racquetball court, shuffleboard, guest laundry and game room. Open seasonally are our Palm's Caf? restaurant for a delicious breakfast buffet and Flip Flop's Oceanfront pool bar, which serves lunch and our famous Bluewater Bruiser! We also feature Live Entertainment and Karaoke different times of the year. We are conveniently located less than a mile from the new Market Common and Coastal Grand Mall for all your shopping needs and we are only 3 miles from Hard Rock Theme Park. Location and size and layout of room was what we were looking for.
Staff was rude and when we had a problem was even ruder.

Overall, our stay was great until the last night of our vacation. The hotel sent over someone from the front desk to empty our trash and give more towels due to housekeeping off duty and they over road our key card locking the bolt on the way out in turn locking us out! For an hour and half my wife and two young daughters had to stand outside our room while waiting on maintenance to unlock the door, the manager that evening was so rude, it didn't help that there were people without permits parked in our lot making it difficult to park close to our room. read more

The location to the beach and easy access to other places.
The parking deck was across the street.

This was a good hotel for the price. The parking was crazy but overrall a good place.
I would stay there again.

Nothing.
Room filthy. No maid service. Hotel in major disrepair.

I would never return to that hotel nor would I ever recommend it to others.
I discussed my concerns with the hotel management and was completely dismissed. I have never been treated so poorly in my 30 years of traveling with my family! We left two days early because we felt so uncomfortable.
