Bolger Hotel & Conference Center

I would recommend this facility to any business traveler. I look forward to returning to the Bolger. As I have noted in two previous reviews, I need a room in the Rockville area about 30 times a year.

A very nice place for someone like myself, a senior-citizen business traveler. I need a room in the area (I commute from Southern New Jersey) about 30 - 40 times a year. I would be very pleased to make this hotel my home away from home.

The Bolger Center is a real find. For the business traveller on a budget this hotel is terrific. Breakfast is a bargain. Price Fixe dinner at $26 may be viewed as convenience, only, if you don't want to travel. Exercise rooms and a nice walking/jogging path for good health. The pub was terrific place after hours and serves hearty sandwiches in the event your work takes you past 8PM for dinner. Their liquor selection includes single malt for the discriminating traveler No need to get stuck in Beltway traffic - it is all right there. For business traveler you will mingle with conference-goers, as this is primary intention of Bolger Center. read more

The hotel staff was kind. Parking was not close to the main hotel entrance. Parking near the main hotel was limited. The location was a bit out of the way. Comfortable and clean rooms and lobby.

This was the postal service's training facility and is a huge campus. There is only 1 place to eat and its a buffet (steam table) and pretty expensive. It really caters to groups and conventions. Not close to public transportation. Because it was not designed originally as a hotel, I found the experience weird (I was not part of a group or convention, just trying to save over the local rates). read more
