In the middle of renovations - nice upgrades to modernize rooms etc. It will be very nice when finished.
Free wireless is becoming more standard that would be helpful. Also, the bed tended to roll on the floor found ourselves moved in the morning.
We were in Toronto for only a night to attend a party nearby. The Bond Place hotel has a very convenient location downtown and the price was right. For the star rating, it is clean and the rooms are certainly not too small. I've had much bigger, more luxurious rooms, but then again--paid the price for them too.
The parking is underground and only a few steps across the street. The attendants at the parking garage were helpful and friendly. The front desk staff at the hotel were also helpful and friendly.
We came in the middle of renovations... the upgrades are looking nice and the refreshed rooms are modern and feel clean. This is not 4-star luxury, but quite comfortable. read more

Location and price.
Small room, double bed, not queen, not attached to headboard, so it slide out when we tried to read in bed.
It was great value for a short, quick get-away weekend. We generally stay at more upscale places, but this was fun for a change. The other guests reminded us of people one might meet in a hostel! The atmosphere in the lobby was professional yet relaxed; unpretentious. The room was QUITE small, just a double bed that kept sliding away from the wall. Room service was prompt and friendly and unpretentious. It was quiet too. Great flat screen TV hanging on the wall.

Location
Bad customer service, random fees.
The rooms at this hotel are small and need, very much, to be refurbished. Wallpaper is peeling, screws pop out of the showerhead, and the hair dryer will spark. Also, the beds are on rollers.

The location, right be eaten center downtown Toronto.
The phone didn't even work, the AC didn't work much, and it was loud. the room was extremely small, the towels were like sad papers.
