Location
Dirty, elevator broken, mildew in room, unfriendly staff.
This is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. I would not care if I signed up for a 1 or 2 star, but this is supposed to be a 4 star. The hotel rooms were tiny, the elevator broken, and the room very dirty.

They provided a bed for our 8 year old son.
The staff was rude and not informative about the city, restaurants or events.
The room was hot. It is old, so there was no closet. As for a 4 star property, I expected internet accessability and decent A/C. The staff was rude and inconsistent.

I'm talking about the London Hotel, not the one in Florence.

Well located near Grand Canal, nice decorated classic room.
Extremely loud and rude staff that argued openly with each other.
This is a very attractive older hotel in the heart of Venice with a classic lobby, bar area and small but very well appointed rooms. The breakfast was the worst we had in 10 days in Italy and the staff was loud and unruly. The place does not deserve its rating.

Staff was very friendly, good location.
Small room, no fitness facilities.
The hotel is well located, very close to the train station and the staff was very helpful, attentive and friendly. However, the hotel facilities were basic and there was no fitness room which I would expect in a 4 star hotel. The hotel does have a nice roof terrace with a good view of the Scalzi bridge - a great place to get away from the crowds!

We liked the location to train station as we were traveling by train, we felt safe, the bed was large and had a tub. staff were friendly.
At night the front doors were locked shut so we could not get out, fire safety problem. there was no clock in the room.
Overall a nice hotel. Nicely located next to train station for travelers by train. A nice large bed with a nice bathtub. Good air conditioning, clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Too expensive to eat there. A soda was 4 euros, yikes. Overall a pleasant stay.
