The location was perfect and the workout room and comfortable bed.
I didn't have a great view and a hot tub would be great.
I would definitely recommend staying here. There are lots of restaurants, shopping, and site seeing close by. The room was comfortable and attractive. The hotel's history is unique and a slice of Americana.

Hotel staff was service driven.
Very noisy location, inconvenient for computer, limited outlets, and parking high priced.
Hotel is beautifully restored to it's 1927 birth, however, no upgrades were really done. Limited outlets caused delays in getting ready (multiple people at once). Very loud downtown location with $40 / day parking. On the upside, the staff was wonderful. Upgraded our room to a 2-bed room in lieu of a 1-bed bedroom. Room was small, but beds wonderfully comfortable and inviting. No extra amenities, no coffee pot, no screen on window. Overall, very nice for the price, but probably would not stay again. read more

Many restaurants, bar and fitness room. We were given a large room.
40/day parking.
My wife and I were very surprised at the old world charm of the park plaza. We ate at McCormick and schmuck, Oconnors Irish pub and had a drink at the whiskey bar. Another night we just walked across the street to Smith and Wolensky steakhouse. Great dining within walking distance was a plus, especially on a rainy Saturday.

Bed was comfortable.
Not at all the star level I expected. I think there was a bait and switch.
This is an old hotel, well kept up but it has at least more than two levels of rooms and we signed up for a 3.5 level and they gave us a 2.5 level room. We had to pay for an upgrade which made it not a very good deal. The room they gave us was very small and there was no view at all. We had to pay 20 dollars more to move to a room we could both fit in. If I had paid less it would be OK, but I was not happy with this bait and switch. read more

Location.
Restaurant food was terrible and expensive.
Great location. No swimming pool. Decent workout room plus a meditation space. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable.
