The hotel served a good breakfast.
It needs renovation. It is dirty and in bad repair. The beds are poor, and the motorcyclists seemed to take over the place.

This hotel is outrageously overpriced, considering the fact that the front steps have large chips broken out of them and the hotel is generally in bad repair. Our confirmation e-mail specifically stated that we had reserved a queen bed, but we were given two doubles. The room was dingy and needed renovation. We were placed in the middle of about 10 men in motorcycles who spent most of their time in the parking lot, talking, laughing, and drinking. We checked out after one night and moved to the super 8, which was wonderful and the same price. It had a good breakfast and a family restaurant nearby that served very good seafood at a reasonable price. It was clean and attractive, and the staff was very friendly. read more

The pungent smell of the carpet in the room and the air condition not working were uncomfortable.

The staff were polite but lied to us about the resturaunrt and the pool
Very Uncean

The motel was supposed to have pool, it was out of order. They had a restaurant but was not open at all during our stay there. The carpet and sofa in our room was dirty. We were told the restaurant was open for lobster dinner and lter told it was closed for the day. The person who checked us in told us the pool and hot tub had both broken down and it would several more days before they could get it fixed. Whe we checked out the clerk said it just broke down and was supposed to be fixed today. Poor and lack of services advertise should equal a reduced price but the price was not drooped and we weren't tld of no service until we had already checked in. read more

The rooms were of
a comfortable size.
Furnishings and fixtures were well worn and outdated.

The room was a good size but quite outdated. The AC worked poorly and there was some mold around the tub. The beds were clean and comfortable, but the shampoo and lotion containers appeared used.

The instant recognition and welcoming attitude of owner.

Very centrally located. Quiet night, very comfy beds. Could use some upgrading as it gave me the impression that it was used a lot. But the all around comfort overlooked all that.

The people are great.
The stairs, the doors, the reception area, the smells in the carpets and
the beds, etc.

We would rather sleep in the car or under a bridge. I can't imagine why this hotel is open for business; it needs much more than a facelift, it needs to be torn down.
