The Vacancier Motel is located in Baie-Sainte-Catherine, a small village at the mouth of the Saguenay Fjord, not far from Tadoussac. Baie-Sainte-Catherine is a source of wonderment and adventure, as well as being the verdant doorway to the Charlevoix region and the departure point for whale-watching cruises. The Vacancier Motel combines the comfort of a hotel with the come-and-go style of active holiday-goers. It's the only motel in the region directly on the banks of the St. Lawrence and near a quiet beach of golden sand. The Vacancier Motel is an oasis of peace and quiet in a gorgeous setting. Clean bathroom.
Filthy rug, no amenities, horrendous road noise.

Small rooms with hard beds. A clean bathroom but filthy carpet. No Ice, no internet, no phone, no pavement in parking lot. Near road with heavy truck traffic which crates loud noise all night. No gas, convenience stores etc on this side of the ferry.
