The hotel was much better than the reviews I read on goggle. The room was spacious and clean, the staff friendly, and the hotel is in the best possible location in Montreal.

A fairly run-of-the-mill hotel, but with a great location in downtown Montreal. Clean room and bathroom, free wireless internet, cable TV, and comfortable bed.

Great down town location accessible to all major attractions. Very reasonable price. Front desk people very helpful with directions about the city.

The lobby appearance was impressive.
The rooms are small and the first one we were put in, had a strong stench of smoke.

We were expecting more when we planned to stay at the Best Western Europe Downtown. We asked for a non-smoking room, and we were put in a room that reeked of smoke, so then we had to be moved to another room which surprisingly seemed small. And during this whole affair we were running late for our concert due to all these inconveniences. The community spaces of this hotel are aesthetic and impressive. But as for accommodations overall there was much left to be desired. read more
