Holiday Inn Airport Saint-Laurent

Hotel sufficed for having a place to sleep. Had a damp smell to it, and there was no smoking rule enforced. Patrons smoked in their rooms as well as walking through the hallways with lit cigarette.

This hotel has an indoor swimming pool surrounded by nice indoor garden. The hotel rate charge seems to be reasonable compare to other near by hotel.

Overall rundown appearance of furniture, most carpets frayed and dirty, halls grimy. Hairs in bath and on shower wall and behind door. Found match just under bed and when I bent down to pick it up found under the beds dirty and found a bag of dried up something. Dusty and to top it all off TV remote did not work. I would not recommend this hotel. Had no choice.

I was amazed by the rudeness of the staff at this hotel. When I check in at 10:15 PM, I was told that if I wanted to order food that I must do this before I went to the room. I did do this, but when I returned to the bar area (the only place to eat this dinner), I watched another family with three young children be treated extremly rude by the bartender. Apparently, the front desk had told them that the kitchen staff would hold the kitchen open for them. The family of 5 was forced to sit in the bar area with their children. It was apparent that this was not where they wanted their young children sitting. As a business traveler, the last thing I want to hear after a long day of meetings is a shouting match insigated by the hotel staff. The bartender tossed the menus on the table. He was very inapproriate by raising his voice where any guest could here from 100 plus feet away could hear this rude comments to the guests. Clean comf. room with comfy bed. A lot of loud voices in hall very early...like most cleaning staff at most hotels.

The rooms overlooked the indoor pool and the games area. They also perform wedding ceremonies in that space, so the room wasn't quiet at all. The kids played in the pool and games area till very late at night & it was way too loud. We contacted reception to find us an alternative room so we could get some sleep.
