Candlewood Suites is not your traditional hotel, and that is the best part! At the Candlewood Suites Austin Arboretum NW, we put the amenities where they really count in the rooms! That means a suite with a full kitchen and plenty of space to stretch out! Each suite has a full kitchen complete with microwave, full sized refrigerator and all your utensils and pans to cook with. Work efficiently at your executive desk with two separate phone lines, free hi speed and WIFI Internet, extended cable & TV Japan, check email and talk on the phone at the same time. Relax in the overstuffed recliner while you enjoy a DVD borrowed from the hotel in your DVD player. Work off some stress in our fitness center or visit our Candlewood Cupboard. In the Candlewood Cupboard you can purchase meals, snacks, and sundry items at value prices. Our Candlewood Suites Hotel is located in the Arboretum Area of NW Austin. Staff was friendly, location good, loved the free use of washing machines, grocery store could have been closer.

Smallish room, footsteps from room above, noisy A/C.

Fairly clean room with a comfortable bed. Full kitchenette with full size fridge in room. Rooms were on the small side with only one bed. This room had a few signs of wear in the kitchenette that should have been repaired. Annoyingly if you have the misfortune to have a heavy footed person staying above you each step resonates loudly into your room. Also the A/C in the room was quite loud. An exterior door to the hotel would click loudly upon closing some 30 feet away from where my room was. So overall hotel management had lost sight of a few of the details in their hotel. Also landscaping and common areas were on the weak side with a few chairs and a BBQ grill outside being it. There was no pool at this hotel. read more

I have stayed at this hotel before and one like it in other cities. I have always had a positive outlook when staying here. Its always my first choice.

The room was very comfortable, and the hotel met all needs.
The hotel had no pool.

The room was very clean and very comfortable. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The fitness room was moderate. Snacks and drinks offered by the hotel were available at reasonable prices.

The rooms were well equipped.
I got a smoking room. I was not asked what I preferred.

Location is good. There is a movie theater close by and a great Mexican restaurant, and plenty of shopping.
