No amenities nearby -- no restaurants, bars, etc.

For a game weekend in South Bend, this was a good deal if you didn't want to pay for the closer in hotels. It's a good drive from campus. Would not normally want to be this far away (but better than being in Michigan).

The room was spacious and bed was very comfortable.
It was a bit far from attractions.

Excellent hotel, very clean with very friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone traveling to South Bend, Indiana.
