Comfortable and well appointed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
It would have been nice if breakfast was available.
It has everything you need and expect in an extended stay type hotel.

I was pleased when I received the hotel for the price I named...until check in. The front desk guy said the room had one bed. I explained that my 2 grandchildren were staying with us and therefore we'd need 2 beds. He said it was the only room he had available. He mockingly said I should have indicated children on the reservation page. I told him there was no place to indicate number of travelers. He said I should have put 4 travelers. I again told him there wasn't the option. He then suggested that I should have bid for 2 rooms. I replied that I had no idea that a one-bed room was possible. So he said he would give us blankets because the kids like adventure. BEWARE when bidding on this place -- one-bed rooms, unsuitable for families, seem to be the rule. read more

As an extended stay, loved the feel of home.
As an extended stay hotel, the quality of the hotel and staff is excellent. This is a hotel that can be considered a home away from home. I am waiting for a place to come through and being there have been a pleasure.

No housekeeping! I like clean sheets and towels daily!
Ive stayed at the Candlewood before since it is so close to my job at Orbital Sciences. Its a decent place to stay at and the hotel manager is friendly and nice. That said
I was disappointed that in my 2 night stay I had to take used towels out of the room and exchange them for clean ones. Also I prefer clean sheets every night and this didn't happen as a result of no housekeeping. read more
