The Casa Calina is a newly renovated guest house on a very nice and quiet place in Carona, with beautiful views over Lake Lugano. The big garden invites you to relax or to do sports.Each room has its own terrace offering superb views of the mountains of Ticino, Lake Lugano and the surrounding area. 3 rooms share a common bathroom. A kitchen and dining room for the guest's use are available as well.A rich and complimentary breakfast buffet is available in the partner hotel Villa Carona or, weather permitting, in the Mediterranean garden with superb views of Monte Generoso. The Ristorante La Sosta also belongs to the same owners and is open daily except on Wednesday.Toys and enough space guarantee that no one will be bored, especially the younger guests. You can prepare your own food on the grill and enjoy it under the covered Pergola.Wireless internet is available in the entire building free of charge.The Casa Calina is also suitable for private events and parties.The village of Carona with its unique location between Monte San Salvatore and Monte Arbostora, is almost 1000 years old. In the nearby city of Lugano you can visit numerous museums and concerts or go shopping. In only 10 minutes by Postbus you can quickly reach the shores of Lake Lugano. read more
