Very expensive.

Great location, what I would expect from a Marriott. However, most things were pricey including wireless Internet. Cost about $60 for 4 days.

The activities with teens, the facilities.
Have some show for customers at night.

The only I did not like was the cleaning of the swimming pool. Accumulates some yellow stuff on the stair that makes my daughter swimming dress spots for ever. Is the first time I see this in a swimming pool. We were in the Hilton in Cancun last Dec and never saw that. I complained to maintenance and they said was because the solutions, but that doesn't happen in other hotels.

Very beautiful hotel with excellent service and hospitality.
High food prices with only moderate to good quality food.

It far exceeded my expectations with a large balcony at the edge of the ocean. The sunrise the first day was spectacular. The room was always refreshed very timely every day with friendly notes left by the maid. The staff was always eager to please with whatever was needed. The hotel common areas were beautiful with music in the lobby bar every evening. There were flowers everywhere with a wonderful smell to greet you every time you entered the hotel. The pool and beach areas were always well kept with plenty of chairs and lounges. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Cancun. We will definitely return to the Marriott Casa Magna in a heartbeat! read more

18 dollars for internet.

The rooms are not a Marriott standard especially in the bed comfort paid 18 dollars for internet connection for a day; this is an aberration in today's world. Out of the three nights twice I had to wake up with the landscaping tractor.

Outstanding room with great air-conditioning, which is a must in Cancun.
The phone call charges from room are excessive--4 min call to local cell cost nearly $20.

Hotel is located approximately 20 minutes taxi ride from CUN A/P. local bus stops right in front of the hotel, for 6 peso (60 cents US) can get you to the heart of the hotel zone (near Hard Rock Cafe, and many good restaurants), busses run around the clock. Great Italian Restaurant (LA Dolce Vita) across the streets from the Hotel. Hotel's Sports Bar and Grill has delicious American/Mexican Fast Food for a reasonable price. read more
