The setting and interior design of the hotel was beautiful.
The food was ok but nowhere near the quality I would expect from a hotel with this star level.

Every where you looked was something beautiful.
There was a $20 dollar a day "Resort Fee".
I loved this hotel and have nothing but great things to say about it with the exception of a $20.00 a day resort fee that seams very misleading. If a hotel tells you a rate per night the entire fee should be included. For such a wonderful resort I can't imagine sneaking a fee in like this would be worth someone writing a negative review.

It was a beautiful, relaxing oasis within walking distance to town.
This hotel was beautiful from the moment you walked into the lobby. The view of the water through the palm trees was amazing. We travel all over the world and have been to Key West before and previously stayed on the water by Mallory Square. I didn't know there was such a peaceful, laid back resort just a mile or so from the excitement of Key West down town. Our travel friends enjoyed it immensely too. read more

Location.
Extra fees, parking, extra hotel service charge that was unknown.
Back room - Clean and met expectations. Staff was OK for a 4 star. Cost of extras is something to be careful of.

Ocean front, close to duval street.
Tons of added fees. cost almost as much to checkout.
Hotel is older but beautifully maintained, the staff and service were excellent, but greatly overpriced. The hidden added fees were noted, but still didn't expect them to be more than
I paid per night.

Too noisy, not friendly staff.
Even though the resort fee should have been included in my bidding price, they would want to charge it separately. It's an old hotel and the bed is located too close to the hallway, and it's extremely noisy.
