It was located less than a mile off I-96.
It was filthy and located in a dicey area (after dark).

I would not stay there again. Though the staff was helpful enough (I barely interacted with anyone), the hotel was filthy (there was a cockroach entering the hotel through the front door with us our first night) and poorly planned. The parking lot seemed almost deserted and was not attached to the hotel - it was across the street. When we parked at night, we made sure to park under a street light because the neighborhood was so dicey. When we walked to the hotel, we heard voices in the bushes behind us and the sound of a car window smashing. read more

Staff was pleasant, breakfast and dining was
great.
A
little shabby, borderline location and
parking lot was
a wreck.

An adequate Holiday Inn. I have seen a lot better Holiday Inn but the staff was quite pleasant and restaurant was great.

Location to intertstate.

Typical Holiday Inn - nice for a night or two - nothing fancy.

Room layout.
Lack of easy entrance.

You have to park across the street, try to hold open doors in succession while pulling your luggage, search for the elevator and then hike forever to get to your room. It is an old hotel that does not appear to have been remodeled.

Nothing really. It was a very old property that has not been properly update and maintained.
There were dirty windows, outdated furniture, no silk or fresh flowers anywhere in the hotel. The landscaping wasn't maintained.

It was a special weekend and the condition of the hotel really put a damper on it. We didn't even feel safe to go down to the pool - which was in the basement.

The carpet was nice.
Seemed to be in a general state of disrepair.

The bad: This was definitely not a three star hotel. This is an old building which has seen one too many coats of paint. The mattress and box spring were stained beyond belief, the hotel and room smelled bad, the wireless internet was incredibly slow. I feel strongly that this hotel did not deserve its 3-star rating. I would rate this hotel 1-1/2-stars. Molding falling off corners. Wooden door in disrepair. Wallpaper peeling off bathroom wall. The good: Quiet during our weekday stay. We were upgraded to two queen beds at no extra charge. Air conditioning worked very well. Good water pressure. Carpet in the room was very soft (double padded). Ample parking. Overall, our stay wasn't horrible, but definitely not worthy of the three stars. read more

The rooms were very spacious especially for larger families.
Very old looking and smelling, needs major updating and cleaning and replacing of things.

For the price of the hotel it was not what I expected, it was very large felt like a hospital, rooms were large but overall it was not a hotel I would recommend or go back to, parking was in a huge lot and could not see from your room, very old looking smelling and old overall, beds were uncomfortable it just needs a lot of updating!

I was not pleased with the hotel stay at all.
The hotel was dirty and old, not what I would expect for a 3 star hotel.

The hotel was very old and dirty. The furniture was damaged and beds were stained. The towels were also dirty and stained. There were visible stains on the walls in the bathroom. Not at all what I would have expected from a 3 star hotel. I thought with it being a Holiday Inn, it would be nice. This hotel was a definite disappointment and I would certainly not stay there in future. I would definitely not consider this a 3 star hotel. read more
