The Woodfin Suites Hotel Rockville, MD is a 203-room all-suite hotel, conveniently located just off I-270 technology corridor. We now feature high speed internet access from the comfort of your suite, with a variety of pricing options to choose from. We are in very close proximately to major corporations and government agencies, including Hewlett Packard, FDA, GE, and NIST to name a few. Each suite is a 2-room suite featuring a private bedroom with bath, and a separate living room/kitchenette. All of our suites offer many comforts of home including, 2 TV*s, a DVD player, 2 phones with data ports, iron and board, CD/alarm/radio, china and silverware for 4, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffeemaker, and hairdryer. The Woodfin Suites Hotel is a full service hotel offering a complimentary hot buffet breakfast daily, as well as a Social Hour M-TH. Good breakfast.
It isn't even a hotel. You have to enter your room from outside.

The hotel was nothing special and wasn't the cleanest place I've ever seen, that's for sure. It's nice that it was a suite but the whole place is rather dumpy except for the lobby and restaurant area.

Free breakfast. Full kitchen in the suite.
Looks and feels like a motel. Felt very unsafe. No security or appearance of security anywhere. Cark exterior flights of stairs lead to rooms.

I would not recommend this hotel to any females traveling alone. Most rooms are accessed only through exterior balcony like hallways. There is no secuirty and many of the rooms are in the back of the hotel, right next to a major highway. I would not go back here.

Great location huge rooms nice staff, and great everything!

The hotel suites were huge, clean, and new. The bed was very comfortable and the housekeeping staff was excellent. This was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in and was an excellent value.

The kitchen was great.
The maid did not leave wash cloths twice.

Great value. The room was very comfortable and spacious with nice amenities like a TV in the living room as well as in the bedroom and a full kitchen. The only negative aspect of the room was that the front door was on an outside balcony.

Fairly new mattress and bed covering.
Outside entrances only (motel style); bad cable; bad restaurant.

This was not a 3*, but a 2-2.5* motel made for extended stays. All the room entrances are from outside decks. The 2 room suites contain an efficiency kitchen with old appliances. Furniture is old and dated. Restaurant is a coffee shop with limited hours - there is not room service. They charge 5.95/day for WiFi access and it is slow to the point of being unusable. Cable TV is basic cable with a million Maryland public interest and shopping channels. It took me 15 minutes to find the network channels on it. The pool and Jacuzzi are outside, in the center of the motel and were drained. Health club is a tiny room with 5-6 pieces of equipment and mirrored walls. The place is relatively clean, and the free breakfast is okay (eggs, sausage patties, French toast, some fruit and yogurt, and decent Starbucks coffee. Staff was nice, but they have little to work with. read more

1 mile drive to Metro rail and free continental breakfast.
Desk staff not outgoing and friendly.

The hotel is a mile drive to a large Metro rail parking lot and is the last stop on the red line. The staff, although not rude, were not outgoing and welcoming. The room was large with a separate living room and bedroom. There is a microwave, small refrigerator, dishes and utensils. A grocery store is 1/2 mile away, so you could eat microwave TV dinners and the free continental breakfast, saving money on restaurants. Internet about $6/day. Overall pretty nice experience. Good for business travelers who don't want to drive into DC. read more
