The view from the room was nice.
The room was awful.

I do not intend to ever return to Cheyenne Mountain resort. The room was awful. The carpet was dirty and disgusting; my wife insisted on wearing her flip-flops inside the room. The drapes were ripped. The shower was unpleasant; poorly lit, cramped, and not updated. The pool was a distance from our room and thus we never had a chance to use it; the hotel is comprised of a series of buildings rather than a single building and this was not clear to us when we booked. Finally, and worst of all, when we arrived we were informed that we would be required to pay a $15 resort fee. We were told that the $15 dollars went towards the cost of room service, use of the pool, etc. The front desk person called it a resort fee. read more

The overall setting was very nice.
Have to call desk for everything including ice, etc.

Very nice setting. The view (if room is situated accordingly) of the golf course and mountains is superb. Housekeeping, as far as we could tell, was immaculate and above reproach.

Hotel lobby was comfortable and inviting.
Through room seems like it needs updated compared to the rest of the hotel.

Disappointed in the room compared to the nice lobby, otherwise my stay was quiet and comfortable

Great location. Very friendly and attentive staff. Lots of amenities.
The required $ 15.00 resort fee should be charged only if the amenities are to be utilized by the guest.

Friendly, courteous and very helpful staff. Nice and unpretentious surroundings makes the resort feel welcoming and relaxing. Very nice rooms. Lots of amenities including private 35 acre lake with beach, outdoor lap pool, extensive work-out room and an indoor pool.
