Hotel Guest Reviews of the Clarion Hotel Fort Myers
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.February 22, 2010

I would not return to this hotel nor would I recommend it to anyone. The carpeting was of poor quality and unclean especially along the wall. AC very noisy; refrigerator standing free and noisy, toilet too close to door in bathroom and placement of toilet tissue ridiculous.

We were very pleased with our room, which was in the executive tower on the 2nd floor. It was clean, modern, and nicely decorated. We had a couple of minor problems with the bathroom but they were taken care of as soon as they were reported. The fitness facility was also very well equipped and accessible. The internet facility was down during our stay but this was of no consequence to us. Overall, the hotel met our needs perfectly. The room, the staff, the facilities were all excellent. I would, however, recommend that anyone booking this hotel for a vacation stay make sure they get a room in the same part of the hotel we were in, as the other part is downgraded somewhat.

breakfast was not very appetizing. Cereal, some dough nuts,1 waffle maker! Toast and juice, coffee.
I had
breakfast somewhere else.
The rate was to high for the room. Clean room but not the best of location. My room was facing a back street; not safe. Complimentary breakfast not good. The employees where friendly but not service oriented. I asked for directions to Terry Park, nobody knew, only driver of shuttle knew but he was at airport.

The hotel was older but clean. However, our room had an odor. The lobby, restaurant and grounds were pretty and clean. They need to replace some of the lounge chairs by the pool.

It was my first stay there, it was ok. The grounds were trashy.

Radisson must have purchased the next-door ramshackle hotel and connected the two buildings. The part that we'd stayed in was definitely a lower class than the main Radisson hotel.

The hotel appears to have been bought by Radisson recently. The bed linens were very substandard, old carpet, warped outer door, poorly insulated walls. I suspect that it will improve upon further renovation of the hotel by the Radisson company, for this is surely not one of their original hotels.

Pathetic Hotel - should be listed as moderate/economy not upscale - soured me on Radisson hotels for life - you could feel the springs in the beds, the door of the room was 10 ft from a busy street, the staff was rude.
