Amazing! Super cheap & expecting motel 6 status but I was proven wrong!
The spa kept foaming up and you could see the dirt on top but that's why they have chlorine!
I had stayed at a Motel 6 in Pismo and paid over 90 bucks for the room! They had one iron to use and we had to go up to the front desk to borrow it each time. So when I was paying 66 bucks for Clarion I was expecting a repeat of Motel 6 from Pismo (or maybe even worse). I took a look at some of Clarion's Monterey hotel and thought, But I thought, What the heck! And I am so glad I was proven wrong because this place was amazing! The pool, spa were indoors ( the pool was heated) the room was decorated very nicely and extremely quaint! The room had its own ironing board and iron (so we didn't even have to use the one we brought from home)! We had no noisy hotel neighbors either. The continental breakfast was very quaint too! They had bowls of cereal, milk, orange juice, coffee, bagels, small danishes and waffles, etc. Just all around cute and clean! I was simply amazed and am glad I stayed at the Clarion! read more

Within walking of town, great cont. breakfast.

Nice, clean and cozy. Located just on the edge of town, within an easy walk to the downtown area and shoreline. Very quiet and friendly. We really enjoyed our visit.

Great room clean & jacuzzi tub worth the extra money.
it was difficult to find, if a wrong turn was taken it was hard to get back because of all the one way streets.
Clean, nice and nice people, great in room jacuzzi tub. Getting in & out of parking lot a bit tight and if you don't find the hotel on your first try, good luck. It's hard to backtrack because of all the one way streets! We ended up taking a cab out and back for the evening because of this.

Asked for a room with two queen beds. We actually got an adjoining room with bed and additional TV. It was more than I expected.
It had a lot nice features with refrigerator and microwave in room. Both really came in handy.
Free continental breakfast had a lot of variety. The staff was very friendly. Had a very good experience, would stay here again.

The staff was really friendly and helpful.
I really liked the room setup and location of the Hotel. I will definitely stay here again. They even had a little garden area that was maintained very well, I saw a gardener cleaning it at night. There was no loud noises.

Room with 2 beds was very spacious, kids loved the pool.
Breakfast was not that great.
Location was good and easy to find. Too far to walk to downtown but easy to drive. Room and beds comfortable. Pool was nice as it was warm and spa was very warm with great jets.

Indoor pool and spa, continental breakfast was good.
Pool and spa could have been cleaner, it was a little slimy & foamy bubbles.
Great for family traveling. Staff was polite. It was relatively quiet. Continental breakfast was great, but the room was too small for as many people that were using it. Not much sitting or standing room.
