The hotel is holding the line, and the center of the city, together. It has its charm.
It's a little tatty at the edges, but I won't hold it against it. We need these hotels!

I loved staying at the hotel, not only because it was convenient and had a great restaurant, but also because it's sturggling to stay alive in a period in which all worthy hotels are losing ground - turning the center of our cities into a vast parking lot - ringed by strip malls. Stay here! Help keep the center alive!
