Very good location to downtown area. The room was cute with a nice balcony.
No iron or iron board in the room and no extra towels.
I enjoyed the stay at this hotel. The restaurant Hush turns into a nightclub on Friday and Saturday nights which is pretty cool and fun. All the bars and local restaurants and shops are located right around the corner. We were very satisfied with our room and hotel.

Spanish style hotel, room interiors nice, good breakfast.
Although separated by privacy screens, our first floor room backed onto park where homeless hung-out. Little noisy.
Motel was very nice, small rooms but nicely decorated. Beautiful lobby with fireplace. Nice breakfast.

Great location, walking distance to downtown and beaches.
Dirty rooms, wine and cheese hour was a joke. Not much parking.
Great location. Walking distance to beach and downtown, right off of highway exit. Rooms were not as clean as one would hope for but staff brought clean sheets promptly when requested. If you want wine at wine hour (5 pm) don't show up at 5:15, it will all be gone.

Close to main strip of bars, beach and historical sites. Old hotel but has its charm.
The rooms are fairly dark. Desk staff was not very helpful finding a location.
The hotel is in a good area within Ventura. It is hard to find a 2-3 star hotel in this area that is considered nice or safe by local people. It is an old hotel, but has it is charm with the wooden furniture and closed patio. The hotel restaurant (Hush) is a great place for dinner and turns into a club afterwards. Bars and restaurants are in walking distance. Would recommend for a 1-3 day stay for 1 or 2 people. read more

The position was perfect for my needs with good access on foot to the beach, downtown and by car to the freeway.
The need for a note on the car that signified you stayed at the hotel.
The Clock tower is set in a good location that offers and easy walk to downtown, the fairgrounds and Main Street. It also has close access to the US101 without being noisy. The staff were excellent and the room was good. It is a mid size hotel that I would recommend.

The room was small old and musty bathroom was in need of repair.
The hotel is in need of an over haul, the bathrooms needed repairs, walls were needing patch work, the toilet lid back was broken. I would not stay in this hotel again nor would I recommend others to stay there.

Room had musty smell, beds very uncomfortable. Bathroom dirty. Was not impressed with breakfast, said we had complete breakfast. It was cereal and frozen waffles, old pastries. Very disappointment.

Terrible loud music coming from a disco somewhere in the hotel or nearby. It was so loud I could hear people screaming and laughing.

It was cute.
It is next to a club that plays loud music until 2am!
We totally did not enjoy our stay here. At first glance it was cute and clean. After falling asleep we were rudely awakened by extremely loud music from the club next door. We were even on the far side of the hotel and still were awakened by this music. Needless to say we lost 3-4 hours of sleep, which does not lead us to give this hotel any kind of good review.

It was within walking distance of good restaurants.
The rooms were very small.
When I got my confirmation for this hotel, I was supposed to have a deluxe suite with a fireplace, however, when I arrived, they gave me another room because a couple that was supposed to check out didn't and they couldn't ask them to leave so I didn't get the room I wanted. I thought that was bad business. I will not return to this hotel.
