Offering exciting gaming action, the Hollywood Casino is just minutes away. Louisiana's capital, Baton Rouge features diverse arts and culture, delicious cuisine and a dynamic music scene. Outdoor recreation is readily available including boating, fishing, golf, tennis and more. Several museums, historical plantation homes, entertainment venues, shopping centers, restaurants and lounges can be found in the area. Hotel closed for Hurricane repairs until 10/1/08. Very attractive design and great lobby and food area.
There was a large element of illegal non English speaking workers that were inconsiderate of the guests. They were loud and inconsiderate.

There were many illegal aliens working and staying at the hotel. The truck alarms went off 5 times in the parking lot when the workers were unloading the wood from another vehicle. They were loud and talking in the hall way very loud. The staring and intrusive behavior was very uncomfortable and annoying.

Overall I thought this hotel was good. Very clean, nice rooms, well kept, parking not great, lobby was nice, location wasn't great (by the intersate).

Friendly staff, great atmosphere, overall good quality.
The AC took awhile to cool off the room (the outside temp was near 100 degrees).

I was very surprised after seeing the hotel that it was only 2 stars. It was definitely worth the money we spent for 3 nights. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was great for us and our son. The sofa made it feel more like home. The microwave and refrigerator came in very handy with our two-year-old. I will book this hotel again for any future visits.

I thought it was a good hotel for the price.
You couldn't check out of the hotel with the television.

I thought the hotel was one of the best and convenient for the price. I will go again.
