Comfort Inn Beach/Boardwalk Area

We paid almost 4 times as much for a room in a similar type location that had a bed that was as hard as a rock! This was pure luxury compared to that. It was clean, quiet and very comfortable. The continental breakfast was quite good, including make your own waffles. The price was fantastic and the location very convenient.

The hotel wasn't too bad. However the manager/owner was a very rude person. She yelled at me, because my room was too loud. I explained to her I wasn't in my room the time of night she was talking about. I (the customer) explained to her, calmly, that the way she conducted her self was unprofessional, and she proceeded to yell. She was terrible! Did not feel clean. Owner (or front desk woman) was rude. We were told one price the evening before for the second night and the next morning told an added fee of $25. The "extra" bed was a mat on the floor, foam about 2" thick with a plastic covering. They would not give a mattress pad or extra blankets fo the "extra" bed.

Hotel was pretty much exactly what we expected. Close prox. to beach/boardwalk (2 blocks) and it's a place to crash. The fridge was nice, microwave too. We took our 2 year old and it was fine...breakfast was decent. Nothing too exciting or terrible to report...which is what we expected. Service was friendly.

This hotel was very clean. We loved having a flat screen TV in our room and every day we came back to a nice clean a refreshed room.

I hope that they can separate the wing of rooms from a group of people to the rooms for business travelers and partners.
