Comfort Inn Canton

The cigarette smell in the room could have knocked you over. There were no non smoking rooms available. The carpet had a slimy feel to it, like cleaner had been left on it or something. I kept my shoes on. There was a piece of chewed gum on the headboard in plain sight. I had to shower in the morning because I smelled like I had been in a bar all night and there was NO SOAP. Hotel was very clean, had a computer in lobby with no printer - that's a minus. Breakfast left something to be desired - no good choices>

The room was clean and comfortable. The towels were not replaced for the next day. Otherwise, We had no complaints.

I would very much recommend this hotel to anyone. A great location, Fun staff that gave great directions.

The handicap access to the rooms was awful. No elevators only steep stairs to upper rooms. There is a limited amount of non-smoking rooms. Staff was okay but the first person to greet us at the front desk was toothless but friendly. The breakfast buffet had watered down apple and orange juice, frozen fruit cups, along with bitter coffee.

Place was not a 2 star, staff ignored do-not-disturb sign,
no elevator, breakfast bar was sub-standard and ran out of food.

The hotel is at best a 1 star. No elevator, smoke from upstairs rooms would filter into our non-smoking room, breakfast bar was of poor quality and never had enough stock. Motel staff does not respect a do not disturb sign on the door. Overall a bad experience and would not stay there again. I travel a lot business and pleasure so I do know what the standards should be.

We were very disappointed to learn that it would have been $20 cheaper to just walk in!
