There were two members of the staff that were polite and helpful.
The majority of the staff was preoccupied and less than helpful or polite.
The room we were given was marked as non-smoking. The room smelled horrid, like a very old ash tray. I noted in my request that there were children. We were given a single room. When I requested a double room we were told the property was full and we may be transferred tomorrow. We were not offered a cot or any other concession , like extra towels, soap, etc for the two children that were in our room. There was hair in the bathtub, in the bed and the furniture was broken. There were issues with the keys. The morning I requested a double room and told I should come back later. When I returned, I was rudely told they were again full for the night and they don't allow double rooms to be reserved through priceline and they NEVER will. Finally on the last morning, we were able to move to a room that was larger and smelled much better. read more

The people other than the lying front desk manager. He should be fired. I will never stay at another Comfort Inn because of his lies.
The management and unnecessary outright lies and treatment of guests.
Upon checking in, I was informed by the Front Desk Mgr. that he had good news and bad news. The bad news was that he had no room reservation for us, the good news was he put us up in another hotel for the night. I explained we had reservations for 4 nights and he said we could stay at the other hotel for the 4 nights. The letter stated only one night and upon arrival at the other hotel they advised that we would receive only one night's paid stay. Upon calling back to the Mgr. it was confirmed that only one night was paid for and we could stay the additional 3 nights at our expense. Finally, he agreed that we would be guaranteed a non-smoking two bed room for the 3 nights upon our return, irrespective of when we rechecked into the hotel. We cut our next day's business short in order to arrive back at 3PM only to find that we had no reservations. After extensive discussions, we finally were given a room. When we got to the room, it was a one bed and upon calling down to the front desk we were advised that there were no two bed rooms as promised, but a "roll-a-way bed" would be provided. This we accepted, as I sleep with a CPAP machine, which makes two beds desirable. The other employees at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, and were it not for the Management, our stay would have been acceptable. Were I the President of this Corporation, I would have fired this Manager on the spot for his unnecessary lies and behavior. Consequently, we will never stay at a Comfort Inn again and many of our friends agree with us. read more

Convenient to I-95 and the Beltway.
Rude staff, bugs, uncomfortable and
small room.
The front desk personnel was rude and condescending. I was warned not to smoke in the room, after not having heard similar warnings made to the guests who checked in before me. I was given a handicapped-access room. The bathroom did not have a tub, only a shower with a drain in the middle of the bathroom. Each time I took a shower, the water did not drain quickly, causing it to make the carpet in the room moist. On the second morning of my trip, I woke up to find a bug crawling in my hair. read more
