Barking dogs.

I purchased a suite hotel and it only had a couch instead of two separate rooms which the staff told me is considered a suite. I was also upset that there were barking dogs on each side of our room. I asked to be moved and we did go to the top floor.

Skimpy pickings at the breakfast buffet. No fruit.

This was a good hotel for a budget stay. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The furniture is pretty utilitarian, but hey, I don't see it when I'm sleeping and I wasn't in the room all that much. There was confusion on my part regarding the payment method when I checked in, but the staff was extremely patient helping me figuring it out.

Remote control for TV needed replacement.

Convenient location, staff very helpful. Beds were very comfortable.

The staff was nice.
There was no elevator! My husband is blind, and I had knee surgery recently.

It was okay for a couple of nights. The beds were too soft. There was no elevator! There was no pool or hot tub. There was an exercise room that was ok, though small. The breakfast was ok. There was not enough parking. I'll never go back.

Everything was fine with our weekend stay. Only additional suggestion I would make would be to add a little more variaty to the continental breakfast.

This hotel was very easy to get to and close to local shopping and restaurants. The rooms were clean and quiet, and the staff was very friendly. We were very happy with our stay and would return to the Comfort Inn if ever in Cedar Rapids again.

It was cheap and all we needed for this overnight trip!

If you need just a hotel to sleep, drink free coffee or watch TV., that is cheap, clean and near great shopping, coffee shop, restaurants and the interstate, then this hotel was perfect!
