Friendly porter.
Tiny rooms, charged my card erroneously.
The hotel is located in a convenient area in the Upper West Side. The rooms are tiny but clean. There is only one small elevator and when I arrived there was a 20 minute wait for it because others were checking in. Also I was erroneously charged over $100 on my credit card which was supposed to be used for incidentals. They graciously refunded the amount but did not explain why I was charged. read more

Location.
Room size, poor hospitality, no view, small elevator, tight hallways.
Good location, but I had to leave the room to change my mind.

Location, quiet.
Lock on door broken off, too hot air, did not work, too hot in breakfast area.
Great location for those attending Lincoln Center events or for shopping or for Central Park! Easy to get cabs.

Even though the room was very small, the room was tidy and well-appointed.
The elevator was almost too small for two people!
This was a very nice hotel, in a great area, and was close to two subways. Everything was very clean and looked lovely, so that even though the room was very small it felt like an upscale hotel. I would definitely stay there again if the opportunity presented itself.

The toilet flushed appropriately.
Everything about the room and accommodations.
This hotel should not be recommended to anyone expecting to sleep at night. The room was poorly wired with a flawed connection for the window cooler, prompting concern over fire hazards. The bathroom was too small for even one person, the shower was a joke. The bed needed to be pushed against the wall for room to walk around to the door.

Location perfect, nice neighborhood, friendly staff.
Cramped room space, though adequate. Very small bathroom.
Decent, comfortable, probably much more comfortable in higher priced rooms. Good location for the Lincoln center.

location
room size and poor condition of room cantents
T elevator cut off 30 - 35 % of the room and divided the room in half with a small opening between the two ections of the room. Picture two small boxes connected on two corners with a two foot walkway between them and the space not available is the elevator. I asked if there was something else available and got a no. Not true, just did not want to bother. Breakfast was fine and location was excellent; it was just a shabby hotel in a nice area that I would not stay in again. To be nice, the bathroom was clean, but tiny. read more
