Comfort Inn Coeur D'alene

Was advertised as 1 mile from Lake Coeur D' Alene. Desk clerk said it was 1.5 miles. I don't believe even that. Misleading because it was in the same area as all the other hotels. Doesn't matter. You're right off a busy, 4-lane highway, so you can't walk anywhere from it. Free breakfast was good, but get there early because there is much competition for food and only six available tables. The hotel was great as expected.

Room was clean and located adjacent to the Freeway. The continental breakfast was yummy and filled us up before a busy day with family. I would recommend this hotel.

The furniture in the room is way too big and the elevators needed a really good cleaning.

Excellent family hotel!

We started off with the friendliest front desk man. He made us feel very welcome. Our room was surprisingly accommodating, very clean, comfortable, and spacious. Our first night sleep was kind of rough considering we were right by the stairs and on the second level with the third above us. People walking up and down the stairs and in halls and rooms above could be heard by there steps and the vibrations on walls. I called and complained around 10:30 in the evening and the noise was stopped very quickly. We were very surprised at the breakfast layout. There were not only your regular continental spread, but you could make waffles, biscuits 'n' gravy, and a great assortment of other items. Being that the hotel is right next to an IHOP we had no temptation to pay for a breakfast or deal with a busy restaurant. The one other surprising thing is that the computer was right in the front lobby and there were no fees to use it like most places do for the internet. We were most impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the quick action they took to satisfy any requests or complaints. read more

We were concerned that our room was right next to the elevator, which was rather noisy when inside of it. However, we did not hear the elevator in our room and we slept well in a very comfortable bed. The sumptuous continental breakfast offered many choices and was very satisfying.
