Comfort Inn Downtown

The hotel was OK. The breakfast bar was a plus. There were no snack machines only water and soda. The bathrooms was extremely small. The hotel did not give a discount on parking for Cleveland clinic guests as noted and I was charged again for parking after I left!

The rooms were clean and there was the standard waffle and cereal breakfast in the morning. The downtown location allowed me to get to my 10am interview easily and a 1pm checkout gave me time to come back and change for my drive back home.

They have a policy of charging guest per night for a wristband to get into the lobby after 8 pm. So do plan on bringing anyone back to your room or having friends pick up. They won't be allowed in the front door. Security staff was down right rude and the front desk staff was not friendly and lacked professionalism. Rooms were small, fairly clean. Very old building the staff were very helpful to Cleveland Clinic patients and their families.

No major complaints. Good value. Easy access to Squam Lake and vacinity, so hotel was a good value. And the staff were very accomodating.

The staff did no understand do not disturb sign. On each of the 3 mornings at the hotel, the cleaning or maintenance staff interrupted us, despite our complaints to the front desk. The neighborhood is totally empty at night, not a good place for leisure travelers.

Nice hotel to stay for business or just as a passing through.

Staff called room at 10:00 pm getting me out of bed and demanding to move my car when it had been parked in the exact space. Also, air in room was stale and smelly. Got slightly better, but not good, on second day.
