The downstairs bar made it loud at night.

Overall, a good experience. I stayed on a weekend night so the bar crowd was loud until 2 am.

Not sound proof, could hear bar below and rooms beside.

Very convenient for people looking to stay for a great time, 2 bars in the same building. Not at all convenient if you are staying for business, as the volume of the bar is very prominent on the 1st floor and doesn't stop until 2:00 am.

The area is terrible. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I have never been to a more discusting hotel in my life.

The downtown Comfort Inn was a pleasant surprise considering the outside of the building and being right downtown. The interior has been recently tastefully redone in a modern theme. The rooms are a bit smaller than usual but plenty big enough for us. Eating the well laid out continental breakfast in the Doolins Irish Pub was fun.
