The Dubuque Comfort Inn is located near many attractions including America's River at the Port of Dubuque, Diamond Jo Casino, Dubuque Greyhound Park and Casino, Five Flags Civic Center, Sundown Mountain Ski Resort and the Dubuque County Fairgrounds. We are minutes from the historical downtown, where guided tours of the area are available, and near Clarke College, University of Dubuque and Loras College. The hotel is also located near Murphy Park, Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, Mines of Spain, Mud Lake, Eagle Point Park and Julien Dubuque's Grave. There really wasn't anything.
The maintenance was bad.

My wife and I stayed 3 nights. The bathroom fan did not work. We told the front desk several times. It did not get fixed. There was a man digging through the dumpster. We told the front desk. They didn't care. The light by the bed would go on and off whenever I sat down or got up off the bed. I had to reroute the extension cord to fix the problem. The television reception was bad even though it was cable. It hurt our eyes to watch certain channels. Our key cards quit working and we got locked out of the hotel. The front desk person was also the one who ran the continental breakfast and they were swamped. They kept running out of everything. They needed help during that time period, but no one else was around. They also ran out of towels. We won't stay there ever again. read more

The breakfast was very unimpressive.

I got a smoking room and was very unhappy about that. I couldn't hardly sleep the smell bothered me so much. I do enjoy Comfort Inns and was very happy with the price I got using Priceline.
