Comfort Inn Marina

This hotel was economical. It was close to the freeway and State Marina beach. There is also a Walmart and gas station across the street. Del Monte blvd was just off beach road with many restaurants. It is about a 10-15 drive to Monterey.

I would recommend this motel to anyone. It was clean, quiet and well located. The staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay and will stay there again when I visit Monterey.

Very friendly staff, great facilities and I felt that it was good value for money.

For the price, the room was fairly spacious. It was very clean and well maintained. The entrance and public areas were attractive with seating by a fireplace. WiFi was available and free and a computer was available for use free of charge in the public area. Breakfast area was kept clean and well stocked during breakfast hours and even provided warm hardboiled eggs to eat with the waffles, fruit, cereal, toast and pastries. The hotel was good for the price I paid. However, I did have one issue. I has indicated that I wanted a non smoking room, but I was assigned to a smoking room.I called the reception desk and told them, but they stated that they were out of non smoking rooms. I had to put up with the smell all night.

The hotel was overall pretty good for the price. Nice size room and decent accommodations. The shower curtain felt like cloth and didn't keep water in the tub very well, so needless to say, I soaked the bathroom floor.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again. It was close to the freeway and although not in Monterey it was within minutes to all major attractions.

Very clean, comfortable hotel. Good continental breakfast selection (among the best)! We have stayed here a couple of times and really like it. It's also nice it's nit right in Monterey, so always a good, convenient option to avoid crowded hotels/motels.
