Conveniently located to all the attractions and places we wanted to go and see.
Very old and unclean shower head, fixtures and fittings are old and tatty.

Ample parking space. Old and tired furnishings.

Had to hunt down a ice machine that had ice.

Hotel was easy for us to find and noise level was at a minimum even though we were close to the airport. Breakfast was good.

Offer good breakfast.
Requested extra blankets, was only able to get one and had to pick up from lobby.

Overall, the hotel environment is not bad. Easy check in/out.

Large room, free WiFi and breakfast was a plus.
Minor highway noise.

Good value. The hotel is located 10 minutes away from most all area attractions with easy access. It is rather close to the highway and air port but no problem during the night. Traffic was audible in the morning. With the large and clean room, free WiFi and breakfast, I would stay at the hotel again with out a doubt.

Very well-maintained, friendly, nice grounds.
Though the grounds were wooded, the view was only of the adjacent block of rooms.

For this price, the only other places I've found in Monterey are much more basic motels situated in motel rows. The grounds here are wooded and give you a real feeling of being in Monterey. The motel is immaculately maintained. Heard a couple of planes, but airport noise wasn't a problem. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast pretty basic. It's a terrific option if you don't want to spend a lot of money. Will definitely recommend to friends. read more

Good condition, very clean, reasonably new looking.
Breakfast was high carbs, could use more fresh fruit, yogurts, no fitness center, low quality coffee.

Overall I was very pleased.

Nice balcony view.
Only one easy chair to sit and relax on.

The minute we walked into our room, we could tell they were on a strict budget because there were just enough towels for two and when we used your towel or wash cloths once, we had to use them again. Also, while the bed was fairly new, it was too firm for more than two nights stay; however, it was cozy.
