The staff was helpful and we had a refrigerator and microwave in our room.
No hair conditioner available.
It's good for the money and for families. We stayed for one night on the way elsewhere and it was great for that purpose. Hotel was clean, staff was attentive, and breakfast was fine.

Rooms were very nice and comfortable. Loved the min-fridge/microwave in room.
Breakfast lacking. Mostly a bunch of sugary foods.
The Comfort Inn San Marcos was extremely nice and surprisingly quiet. It is a Motel, but when you enter the room it is furnished and decorated like that of a nicer hotel. Parking was limited, so sometimes we had to park far away from our room. The breakfast actually includes your choice of danish, muffin, toast/bagel, or the popular Texas shaped waffle. Each waffle takes 2 minutes to cook and 2 minutes to prepare and remove from waffle Iron. I was in line behind a woman who was cooking waffles for her family of 5! I just went with the cereal due to not having 30 minutes to wait for her to finish. Overall the Comfort Inn was well worth the money and I would stay again and recommend to family and friends. read more

Convenient to the Highway.
The Hotel met my expectations for a 1 to 2 star hotel.
The Comfort Inn seemed to be an older motel with some upgrades to the rooms, new furniture, bathroom fixtures, and curtains. However, the queen size beds were not queen more like a full size. As for the climate of the rooms, it seemed the AC was not as cold as I am accustomed too. Where as the amenities like the Hot tub was very hot, but the pool was cloudy and warm (daytime temperature degrees). The complementary breakfast could have had more heart friendly foods (fruits, yogurts, whole wheat bread) and was offset with the lobby smelling of mildew. Moreover, the staff was friendly and very courteous. read more

Hotel located right off the interstate making it easy to get to our daughter's basketball games, restaurants, and the mall.
No laundry room.
I was very impressed with the lobby area when I first walked in. The rooms were very nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. The hotel staff were very helpful. No problems at check-in or check-out.

The pillows and beds were comfortable.
The ice machine barely worked and it was hard to get to.
A clean, basic hotel right on US 35 on the north side of San Marcos. A good, basic breakfast in the morning with a clean pool and rooms.
