The hotel location compared to Tropicana Field is great.
The hotel is dirty, run down and not good.
The clientele of the hotel are seedy looking. It is what I guess I should expect for the money, but having the dresser top and table top's wood chipped away, graffiti in the elevator and bathroom that was straight out of the 70's was disappointing.

Rooms are well equiped with microwave and coffee maker.
Wide windows from the floor up that forces you to always keep the curtains closed so nobody sees you.

The beds were very comfortable.
All rooms on perimeter of hotel; low water pressure; rude desk clerks; phone extensions did not work.
Overall, small room, bathroom outdated, electrical outlets had blown sockets throughout the room. Could not call front desk because the extension buttons did not work on phone.

Bathroom was new &clean, bedding very nice & fresh.
Surprisingly clean and in good condition, I would stay here again if in the area, sheets and bedding were very fresh and comfy, excellent breakfast selection, refrigerator in room, parking close to rooms and under lights.

It was close to the downtown and pier. We liked the people in the hotel, It was quite and well kept.
The rooms were clean and we liked the idea that there was no smoking. Many times when traveling we have been put in room that reek of smoke. The breakfast area was very nice and the woman who cared for the food was very quick to keep everything full. We would stay there again on another trip the St. Pete.

The location was excellent. It was clean and had a nice scene.
The noise of the cleaning maids cart in the mornings.
The breakfast was always fresh and replenished as needed. I would definitely stay again.

The Stadium where the world series was being held was a short 8 block walk. It turned out to be 4 - 5 miles away in a dubious area.

Internet access in lobby for use in printing airline boarding pass.
No major complaints.
Although there was only one person not two registering, and I am not handicapped and did not request a handicapped room, upon check-in. They very kindly reassigned me to a "normal" room. My clothes dragged on the floor on the "short" closet in the handicapped room, so I requested the change.
