Comfort Inn Universal Studio

We were very unhappy with the whole experience, was told on the phone that a room would be blocked & when upon check-in, either the room was changed or we were down-graded. No explanation was offered. I even went to far as to send an email to Robert the GM, telling him of the experience. Night Auditor had no Customer Service skills with regard to the no parking spaces available when we got back from Universal. read more

Good room, good staff, language barrier between desk and staff, lack of working exhaust vent in bathroom. The non working exhaust vent was ready to fall off the wall and full of dust.

Enjoyed my short stay it was just over night would do it again. I did not use the pool, game room, or work out room.

The bedroom area was nice, although I prefer mattress covers under my sheets. The vanity/sink was cracked and tacky and should have been replaced. A little attention to the bathroom area would have made this a very nice room. I wouldn't stay again.

I expected the rooms to be somewhat cleaner and was disappointed with the continental breakfast. There was not enough parking when returning later in the evening and we had to park along the curb at the check-in area. We also had to switch rooms due to wet carpeting and musty smell in our first room. We did receive maid service each day with fresh towels. The motel was conveniently located near Universal Studios which is what we wanted. However, I would not stay at this motel in the future. read more

Older hotel, musty smell in room found a floor dryer in our room running. Chaperoning older children and requested rooms close. Called 2 days prior and manager said no problem. When I checked in they put me in 2 rooms in 2 different buildings. Basically said to bad that's all we have.

The lobby was the cleanest place there. The elevator was a nightmare ascent. The room smelled and was in dire need of dusting and a strong cleanser in the bathroom area. Our AC unit broke about 1 AM and we awoke to loud partying on the balcony area outside our 3rd floor room, including someone skateboarding. I called the front desk and they sent security about 30 minutes later. We went to get ice out of the machine on the second day and found a fungus filled pit and ice cubes that were pitted with black something. We went to wash out some clothes in the laundry room and it was flooded out and full. My daughter and I came to Orlando for a 2 day orientation at the UCF campus. We were poorly rested and had a very rough time making it through the full 12 hours of the first day there and even the 6 hours of the 2nd day. I intend to return to Orlando to visit my daughter, but you can be sure I will not be staying at this filthy place. This place should not even be listed on your site. read more

We had no housekeeping until two days after we checked in then when they did clean the room they forgot the toilet paper no clean sheets were ever put on either.

Good location for Universal, clean enough for an overnight stay.
