Closeness to major attractions.
Grounds were around the hotel and not appealing.
I enjoyed my stay at Hurricane. Would stay there again. Staff was helpful.

The pool was nice and continental breakfast was convenient.
I had to stay in a smoking room, and it smelled horrible.
Good hotel for the money. I was looking forward to the hot tub but it was cold and no jets worked.

The room was warm without the heater and the bed was comfortable.
All bathroom fixtures need to be replaced.
The room was adequately sized. The bed was very comfortable. However, the faucet was covered in corrosion around the spout (yuk!) and the toilet ran continuously until I gave it a temporary fix. Housekeeping didn't seem to take pride in their work; things like replenishing the coffee or replacing the tissue box, etc. weren't done.

Beds were comfortable and the location was where I needed to be.
The free breakfast was awful! could charge less and do away with it.
Used to stay here all of the time. New owners were not up to par - time has passed so decided to try it again.

Friendly staff.
Mold on shower curtain, carpet in room filthy, feet black if barefoot, breakfast tables were filthy, sweet rolls in breakfast 3 day stay, hard as a rock.

The staff was friendly and helpful. If I needed a question answered, they were on the ball with the answer and were helpful overall.
Connecting flight to LAS was delayed due to airport closing weather related. I still had to pay for the room for the first night we missed.
The staff was great and wonderful to work with. The hotel needs more updating as it is looking too dated, rust stains, the beds and pillows were terribly uncomfortable, the pool/hot tub area needs a total overhaul and more care of the miniature golf area is needed. On the plus side, the room is clean, there is a refrigerator and microwave, free internet connection, a continental breakfast and the view from the front of the hotel is nice. The backside view is of a lot full of semis and equipment. A screen of trees along the border would help this tremendously. I will be staying here again and wanted to point out that the staff made a big difference in my choosing to return. read more
