Comfort Suites Columbus

For my purpose, it was perfect. I was attending the Rock on the Range music festival at Columbus Crew Stadium and the Comfort Suites was within walking distance and very reasonably priced. Nothing fancy about this hotel, but it served its purpose well.

It was a very nice place to stay.

The room was great; except it was on the 3rd floor of a hotel with no working elevators. My travel partner lost her keys and contacted the hotel staff after we left about if they had found them where she thought they were left, they said they would call back after speaking with housekeeping. When she called back 15 minutes later with another idea of where they were left, another staff member had told her the 1st staff member was gone for the next hour and would call her back. He never did. Luckily we weren't traveling far, but if I had to wait around for a call back that never came before I could leave for my destination I would have been outraged. read more

We were staying to see my brother wrestle at states. We needed somewhere close enough to the university. We did not have much time to hang around the hotel. The staff was helpful anytime we asked for directions. I did notice the hallways always had crumbs, and the elevator had garbage in it for the entire day, I assumed not anyone cleaned that day. Overall I was displeased with the entire stay. The hotel staff had disabled WiFi access to the rooms but also did not have Ethernet cords available. The time that these cords would become available continually changed and I still did not have one in my room prior to departing. The remote control for the television had no working batteries in it and when I called the desk I was told they were also out of batteries. Although the hotel had numerous vacancies I was placed in a handicap accessible room with no bath tub, just a wheel in shower that was dirty. The shower head only reached to mid chest height and could not be adjusted. Finally check out was supposed to be at 11 am, at 10 am the maid entered my room and said to me 'Why are you still here you are supposed to be gone' and then walked out, coming back in 15 minutes saying 'You still here?'. Very poor.

The facilities were wonderful. However, the horrible service overshadowed the facilities by far. The front desk personel were not helpful. Very poor customer service!

Overall, this hotel was comfortable. I was disappointed that our room was not ready when they said it would be. I was also disappointed with the quality of the rooms furnishings: the hotel itself looks brand new, but the furniture in the room was in poor condition. The pool was very nice, however there were bugs floating in it. I will say, however, that our room was clean, there was excellent water pressure (seems hard to come by at some hotels), and the continental breakfast was wonderful. read more

This 2 star hotel in Columbus, Oh was nicer than the 3 star that we paid. Although no room service was available, the continental breakfast was the nicest I've ever seen. The small amount of mold in the shower area wallpaper crack had a big affect on my travel companion. It was the only cleanliness issue. Surprised to have a mini fridge and microwave in room!
