Convenient location, spacious room and
free WiFi.
Pool was filthy! Location felt unsafe.

Hotel choices are limited in Monroe, LA, and this is one of the better properties available. It has its issues: the breakfast was inedible and the swimming pool was scary-dirty. The king suite was spacious, with mini-fridge, microwave, and queen sleeper-sofa, the free WiFi was easily accessible, the bathroom was clean and towels were plentiful.

Convenient location, quiet, clean.
I felt rushed to be out of my room.

The hotel was clean, quiet, friendly staff, and the rooms were nice. The down side - check out was at 12 noon, but the maid service came by at 9:00 am the next morning and repeatedly came by every 30 minutes or so until I left. Would have enjoyed quiet time until check out.

Cleanliness.

There was a problem with the AC unit in our room. We were promptly moved to another room which had a broken sofa bed. We were immediately given a new and upgraded room each time. Things will break, it's a given. The staff was quick to give us new accommodations.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable.
Having the housing cleaning come knock on the doors at 9 am.

I like the hotel a lot. The staff was very nice. Showed southern hospitality for sure. Would definitely use the hotel for further visits.

The cocktail hour with snacks and the excellent continental breakfast.

Execeeded my expectations! One of the nicest 3 star hotels I have stayed at. Very nice lounge area with comfortable chairs. Television with news for breakfast. Great coffee!

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

I searched every site possible to check the ratings of hotels in Monroe. This was the only one without a negative review. I'm going to keep it that way. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were extremely comfortable and of great size. Everything was clean! The breakfast was wonderful! After seeing the surrounding hotels and motels, I was exceptionally thankful that I chose Comfort Suites. The indoor corridors really made me feel safe. Honestly, I actually felt like I was at home! There is no doubt next time I have to stay overnight in the Monroe area, Comfort Suites will be where I'll spend it! read more

The bathroom could have been nicer.

Check in went very smooth and the staff was helpful. The room was clean. I would stay there again.
