The hotel was clean, fairly nice, and in a good location.

I was here to take Ph.D. exams, and it was perfect. Quiet, mini fridge, microwave, so I could be a hermit in the room. Was able to make xeroxes, etc.
Spider on my pillow when I arrived, sheets were clean but stained for two of the days of my stay. Housekeeping was not friendly. Remote was too slow changing TV channels.

This is a big, new hotel that has very friendly staff, a restaurant and bar on site (though with somewhat limited hours), a Walmart with groceries and booze almost across the street, and many restaurants close by. Wireless internet, quiet, and served my needs. TV remote was annoying - took forever to change channels.

Staff was very accommodating to late check-in.
The breakfast was awful.

Great staff, comfy beds and easy access to free WiFi. Older TV and tiny pool. We stayed only overnight, so it was fine, but might not work for small children.

Location, room was spacious and bed comfortable.
Continental breakfast was so so.

Overall, a good value for the money. As I already mentioned, the location was key for us as we were able to get to most of the hot spots in the area within 15 mins. The room was very nice and bed was extremely comfortable.

The housekeeper/breakfast lady.

I have stayed here several times, and usually have been happy. Our kids attend FSU and location is good. Unfortunately, this time was different, perhaps because the hotel is getting older, but the quality was not there. The 1st room we checked into, the AC was broken, so we had to move. The 2nd room was ok, still had some issues with AC, but it did eventually cool. Breakfast, not so good. read more

Liked the room size, use of computer and Internet connection.
Would have liked more than one waffle maker to use during breakfast. Had to wait 2 to 3 minutes on waffle maker.

Clean hotel located in clean safe (appeared safe) location. Shopping area accross the street. Minutes from Florida State and Florida A & M Universities.
