Description of Commonwealth Park Suites Hotel
Not your average hotel. The Commonwealth Park Suites hotel is a charming place in history offering spacious suites and upscale bedrooms. We are located across from the Virginia State Capital building and just a short walk to the financial and legal hub of the city. Richmond?s famous entertainment districts Shockoe Slip and Shockoe Bottom are also within easy walking and offer an excellent variety of dining and relaxing options. Not your average hotel room. Our suites are spacious and offer separate living and bedroom areas. They are well suited for corporate travelers who need the extra space for business or families who need the extra room to enjoy their vacation together. Each suite includes a sleeper sofa in the living room or that extra bed. All suites are equipped with a microwave refrigerator coffee maker dining table executive desk iron and ironing board and executive desk. Our upscale bedrooms include the same great amenities while our studio suites are larger than the average room and include a sofa for guests who require a little more space but wish to spend less than the cost of a two room suite Out European styled bathrooms feature hair dryers towel warmers granite topped vanities and bidets. Cconvenient location, comfortable beds, friendly and helpful staff.
Rrefrigerator did not work, but was fixed immediately, air conditioner had a leak.

I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the Richmond area. In the heart of Richmond, the hotel was convenient to all attractions and shopping. Very safe. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. We had a few problems with the room, but they were rectified immediately.

The suite was huge and well appointed.

This is an amazing place. It reminds me a lot of European style hotels. It has a lot of character, the suites are enormous, the bed very comfortable. This is the place we go to when we visit our daughter in college in Richmond. If she wants to stay with us, she can because there is a separate room with a pullout couch. I would highly recommend it.

This hotel actually exceeded my expectations.
This hotel did not provide a place to socialize after hours.

Overall, I found this hotel to be excellent for my purposes. The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling while on business or leisure. I do plan on staying there again on my next trip to Richmond.

Parking across the street, but had valet service.

Would recommend it to anyone. The breakfast was not as good as I expected.

Parking was incontinent. Had to valet but it wasn't always available.

Nice hotel. Excellent accommodations. Very comfortable beds and rooms.

I loved the room & the suites. The location was perfect and the staff was very friendly.
The water took a while to get hot.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The valet parking for Richmond is very reasonable and the location was great! I would definitely stay there again, especially for the price.

A very charming hotel, laid back, but yet in the heart of Richmond. I arrived late at night and felt safe as a woman traveling alone.

The rooms were very nice.
We stayed 2 nights and the did not clean the room the 1st night just made beds.

I would stay at the hotel again. The room was very nice. The staff was slow but friendly. The elevators were slow and very small. I would rate the stay and 8.
