Continental Hotel Miami Bayside

This hotel was horrible, staff was unprofessional, and rooms were small and dirty. We had are toddler with us and I pushed the beds to fit his play pen when I notice that there was a huge hole on the wall.

I would not choose this hotel again, because the elevators are slow, very small, and noisy/the bathrooms are even smaller than the elevators/and the television has no interesting stations.

Cheap hotel maybe once all the construction is done Downtown, one may have a better experience.

The hotel staff was nice. The rooms were horrid. You get what you pay for, cheap accommodations.

Could not find the hotel because most of the lights were out on the sign on top of the building. When we called several times, no one answered the phone. Could not park in front to unload, had to go around the block and pull up on the side. Definitely not a nice area to drive in off the main street. Desk people assumed I did not speak English and they didn't very well. The room smelled and walls were dirty. Could not get car out of garage early if you needed to fly out. They stated they open around 8 or 8:30. The room was extremely small and there was one thin blanket on each bed. We definitely paid way too much money for this hotel! read more

Good points:1. Good location - bay side and good view (if you get one).Bad:1. No parking facility (and very expensive parking)2. Hotel staff not corteous.3. No complimentary Breakfast for the price.4. No Internet access - that is very bad.5. Bad quality of bathroom fittings.6. Chances of getting burnt during shower very high as usually water pressure varied and sudden hot water gushed out.7. Bathroom very crammed.8. No coffee maker.9. No microwave.10. No proper guidance and directions from hotel staff for nearby attractions. read more
