Great location to the tube.
Out dated rooms. Bathroom had two spigots only cold and only hot.

This is a hotel that is safe and clean. It is in a really great location. Near some decent restaurants and 3 in walk from the High Street Kensington tube station. The only drawback is the outdated furnishings, but this is minor. I would recommend this hotel, especially for the price.

The first room smelled badly of mold, faucets leaked, and carpet showed water stains.

Needs a major renovation. It is not 4 star quality but could be with new carpet, furniture, and bathrooms.

Hotel staff was nice and cheerful - only positive.
Everything else - awful old room, bad housekeeping standards.

The Copthorne Tara was not a 4-star hotel. The room was old, worn, and unclean.

The cleaning staff was diligent.
The concierge attendant asked for an additional 45 pounds to upgrade my lodging. No local phone use without paying exorbitant sums. No Internet.

This trip was a lot more expensive and frankly a rip off.
