Location was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful.
All in all a very nice place to stay. Convenient to subway, shops and fast food. I would stay here again.

Upgrade was reasonable and offered free internet - fast- and continental breakfast/happy hour in a private setting.
This hotel is outdated and our 12th floor room was not an exclusive room - just a regular room with a somewhat view.
Location is near the tube and busses in an upscale area near Kensington Palace and major shops. Hotel upgrade was worth the price for privacy and amenities. However, this hotel is dated and in need of new carpeting and room upgrades.

Very friendly staff, pleasant outdoor smoking area.
Air conditioning didn't cool down well.
Great location near tube station. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room a bit small for a 4-star hotel and air-conditioning a little weak but overall very pleased with Copthorne. They had a pleasant area of tables and chairs for smoking!

Lobby and location were perfect.
Rooms could use some upgrading. Cigarette holes on carpeting.
I would stay there again. Was in a great location.

Helpful concierge desk.
No affordable food service.
Good business hotel. Clean and friendly, but without atmosphere. Good area for local shopping and eating but a long way from tourist attractions.

Checkout.
How dirty and old the rooms were.
The room was dirty: extremely outdated, dirty carpet, extremely uncomfortable bed and pillows. They charge 10 pounds per 24 hours for the internet. Windows were so dirty that you could hardly see the trains as they passed by making constant noise. Other than location, I cannot say much good about the Tara.

Location, very close to the underground High Kensington Street.
Nothing.
From the outside of the htel, you would think not so great, but once you walked into the doors is was very nice, clean and the people were very friendly and very helpful with helping us find our way around London. The rooms were very nice and large (from UK standpoint) and very clean, the beds a bit soft, but after being out for 10+hrs. It felt very good. I would defiently go back to this hotel again. read more

Master light switch created instant welcome on returning: the shower was incredible.
Confusing pedestrian access mixing with vehicular traffic across fronting plaza.
Friendly, helpful staff, well appointed room ( although ancient TV could be worthy of replacement with a flat screen), ample storage and great water pressure in the shower. Our second stay, and we'll be back.
