This hotel is old. The lobby looks antiquated, but OK since clean. Front desk appeared empty until you approach the counter, then someone comes out of back room. The rooms have sleep number beds, but smell old, musty and like mildew. Floors and bedding felt damp and looked dirty. Curtain over
AC had to be pulled back just to blow air into the room. Shower curtain flew up when showering. More of a fight with the curtain than a shower. Ice maker did not work on our floor. Bathroom door would not close. There was a teen party in one of the
rooms, however the music could be heard in our room on the 4th floor and kids were sitting in the elevators. read more

Cute little soaps.
Sand paper towels.
Left side of comfort Select bed did not work. Towels were like sand paper. Crummy shower-sometimes forceful next few seconds barely had water coming out. 8th through 14 floors under renovation. Nearest ice 7 floors down. Clerks acted as if they were doing us a favor putting us on top floor when,in fact, most floors were under repair and there were hardly any customers there.2 blocks from lots of restaurants and night life in a college town. read more

Hotel has been nicely improved after falling on some harder times.
Good value on Priceline. A little overpriced with regular rates.

Very convenient to Fayetteville nightlife.
Old.
The first thing I noticed about the hotel was the frayed towels. The shower had 2 setting, hot and cold. While the sleep number beds are intended to be nice, they feel more like an overpriced airmattress. The hotel pool just seemed somewhat rundown.

Loved having the Sleep Number Beds. Just like home.
No parking lot. Had to use public lot next door.

Nice lobby.
It was ordinary and no complimentary continental breakfast.
It is located right on the square in Fayetteville which is only convenient if you are wanting to tour the square. Otherwise, the narrow streets and one ways make it inconvenient to get to. Parking is in a city parking deck directly to the east of the hotel, but still makes for a longer than usual walk to get indoors. Thankfully, the weather was good. Because we were in a full-size van we had to park on the upper deck and there is no elevator so we had to walk down three flights of stairs. The lobby is nice. The desk personnel were cordial enough. The room was on the eighth floor overlooking the backs of other building (not very scenic). The room was ordinary. The furniture was older. The bed was comfortable, but I could not figure out the select comfort controls which did not appear to have any power. The bathroom shower worked fine, but the spray was uneven. We were comfortable, but we were in town to visit family so we were hardly there. It would not have been a nice romantic getaway place. read more

Accommodations.
The room never really got cool enough - the air would go on and off all day/night. There were two beds and one of them had numerous large stains on the sheets. The location is great, but wouldn't recommend until they do their renovations.

Nice lobby, room was OK.
Parking deck behind building. Get wet in rain. Access is poor and dangerous at night.

Staff was helpful in many ways.
Parking for a van is a problem.
