Front desk sevice recovery.
There was no TV remote in room, when we called down about it, no one could get one for us.

I like the breakfast and rooms are comfortable. Location is relatively quiet. We had a slight inconvenience (no TV remote in room) and the front desk agent couldn't get anyone to bring one up to us. The next morning when we mentioned this to the front office supervisor, he was very gracious in trying to make it up to us.

Star level for the price and proximity to freeway.
Room had stained tub and dirty ceiling in shower area.

I'd be happy to stay here if they would put the indoor whirlpool spa back in operation. Exellent value for a free breakfast.

Left behind prescription meds & unavailable until the next day, housekeeping and management & hotel has no extra key to the safe on-site that's accessible immediatley.

Homely lobby decorations with christmas trees and fireplace, country warmth ambience.

It is clean. The location is good too.
I do not like the strong soup smell in the room.

It is generally a good hotel with free breakfast. It is clean and well maintained. I would like to stay again. But I do not like the strong soup smell in the room. Maybe the cleaned the carpet recently. Who knows. But I did not request to change room.
