Nice lobby.
Only one broken down chair to watch TV. Carpet was dirty and
bed lumpy.
The outside, parking and lobby were very nice. The room was third rate.

They had warm chocolate cookies at the front desk.
The room smelled and was not clean.
I was disappointed. The receptionist was constantly on the phone or speaking with her friend when I arrived (Aug 21 around 7 or 8 PM). I couldn't tell her my concerns, i.e. anticipating arrival of lost suitcase, allergic to feathers and needed hypoallergic pillow. I finally went out and bought my own pillow. The biggest disappointment was the unclean, smelly room. It was really disgusting for a 2-3 star hotel. read more

Not as clean as I expect. Old towels etc in bath.
Good place for business travelers or large family groups traveling together.

Cleanliness.
I was double charged for my rooms after offering to provide the receipt . I also had my bank statement.
I will stay at other hotels in the future. Will not recommend this hotel to my friends who are mostly Nurses. My husband and I are both Nurses.

Checkout.
Prevalence of cigarette oder.
I signed for a no smoking and was told that none were available. Since I have never smoked in my life this was unsatisfactory! I should have returned to my home and returned the next day, I would have been more rested.

Good location, indoor pool and hot tub.
Furnishings are sparse, uncomfortable and old. Only the desk chair and the bed were okay.
Better value than the new Hilton or Holiday Inn in town and they give you a passable breakfast. However, it is not as nice or as new as other hotels. It's okay that the furniture is old as long as it's in good shape, but there was really no comfortable seating.
