Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Wilmington Airport

This hotel was terrific for us. My husband and I stayed there with our toddler while visiting family and found the location to be convenient, the room comfortable and the free breakfast to be much nicer than standard continental breakfast fare. We really liked this hotel and have stayed at many other hotels in the Wilmington area but liked this one best.

It was beautiful, high quality,and very comfortable. It meet every need we had for the weekend.

This hotel is very pleasant to the eyes. Amenities are fine and staff is great. Walls are thin and you hear your neighbors quite easily as well as if water is running through drain pipes its clearly heard. If you want rest at this hotel stay on the top floor and you might have a chance to enjoy it.

My husband and I went to Wilmington for a romantic weekend. Our first in over 5 years so I wanted to get a nice hotel at a great price. This hotel did not disappoint. It was beautifully decorated, had plenty of parking and had a very nice breakfast. It was convenient to lots of shopping, downtown Wilmington and many nice restaurants. There is even a target across the street in case you forgot a toothbrush or needed some snacks. It isn't really close to the beaches maybe a 15-20 minute ride but for the price, it definitely much better than paying the higher prices for beach front hotels. We have stayed at a few in Wilmington a lot closer to the beaches, paid a lot more per night and did not enjoy ourselves as much as we did when we stayed here. read more

When I first arrived I was given a dirty room, then I was given a room that had no sheets on the bed, I was up graded to a junior suite only problem the bed was dirty. Pillow had women hair all over it, and devor was very dirty. The girl came up from the front desk and brought another devor but it was worse then the one I had. She told me she took it from another room and that she would go and get a fresh one, half and hour later she brings a clean one to my room, only problem it was for a queen size bed and I had a king. Then she leaves and calls me to say they have no more davors to put on my bed, but she would bring me up extra blankets and that they would take care of the problem the next day. Well the next day the picked up my trash and never made my bed, left dirty cloths on the floor, and you guessed it, no devor. Now I have another girl comes in with the same devor that was on my bed the first night and it was dirty. about a hour later the manager comes back with the girl from the front desk and put a clean one my bed and said have a good night, any problems just call. By the way I had to call to get my pillows back that the girl took the first night. Enough said. read more

Over all excellent Hotel very well managed.

The staff was very helpful and always pleasant. Room was clean, and continental breakfast was great. Overall, very pleased with my stay here. I'd definitely stay again.
