Location. Staff was very nice & helpful.
Exterior needs improvement.

On first glance, I was worried because the hotel seemed to be older and in need of some exterior TLC. However, the interior was on par with other Courtyard where I have stayed. The staff was excellent! Extremely nice & went out of the way to help.

The rooms were very nice.

Overall the hotel was good. They did not have a restaurant, but served a wonderful breakfast. I highly recommend their breakfast.

Close to downtwon Athens.
No bathroom ventilation, no small fridges in room and tube television.

Hotel was in close proximity to downtown Athens and the University of GA.

The bed was comfortable.
The shower curtain was molded and mildewed.

Very small room, dirty shower curtain. No compensation offered. But the king size bed slept good. The people were nice.

Walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops.
Surroundings aren't very nice.

Compared to other hotels in this location I would say this was one of the best. The rooms were nice, bathrooms clean and updated and the front desk was very helpful. We loved being able to park the car and walk everywhere.

Adequate convenient parking, excellent employees at front desk.

For two exhausted travelers, having driven 700 miles, it was the best, good access in and out and quiet.
